About me:
I am an architect with proven experience in Architectural Design and Construction, with expertise in Net-Zero Energy building and Project Management.
I obtained my professional degree in Architecture at Oxford Brookes University, UK - RIBA recognized Part 1 and 2 examinations. I am a licensed architect in Greece, since 2005 and an AIA international associate, since October 2015.
In 2007, after 5 years of work experience in Thessaloniki, Greece, I started my own practice, A:RT (Architect: Rothula Theofilou) dealing mostly with private and commercial architectural, interior and construction projects.
In 2011, I joined our family business, INTERACT Ltd, an engineering and construction firm, based in Thessaloniki, Greece.
As the company's Project Manager, I was involved in a series of Energy Construction and Energy Efficient projects. We have built over 5MW of photovoltaic parks and photovoltaic installations on private and industrial roofs, studied a number of net-zero buildings and, during the past 2 years, were involved in the electrical and mechanical construction of 3 of the largest resorts in Northern Greece: SANI RESORT and IKOS OLIVIA, all based in Halkidiki, Greece.
In 2015 I moved to the US for 5 years, where I worked for a local firm: Place Designers, based in Austin, Texas and collaborated with some private clients for their design projects.
Since 2020, I am back in Thessaloniki, Greece, continuing my A:RT private practice.
